I am so happy to have my friend Jennifer on the blog today sharing a a DIY Washi Tape Letter idea that I know you will love! So, let's get to it!

Jennifer Pilgrim - The Newlywed Pilgrimage

Hi, I am Jennifer Pilgrim and my blog is called the The Newlywed Pilgrimage. I'm a Dallas girl who embarked on an adventure in crafting & cooking upon moving to the Ohio Amish country 1 month into marriage. I started blogging to share my creations and gather inspiration from others. The rest is history!

I believe in easy. Simple crafts warm the home and I adore dual purpose recipes that create double dinners. We are now back in Dallas after a long year away. Life is returning to normal but my love for blogging and my desire to learn, explore, and create is only just beginning.

Here's one of my absolute favorite crafts using washi tape.

Washi Tape LettersWashi washi washi! It never gets old. I had a lot of fun doing a post on washi tape clothespins. Well, this is the same concept. Just as easy. Just as inexpensive. Just as fun!

The Skinny: I have three ginormous wedding photos on canvas that sit atop my narrow fireplace mantel. It needed a pop of color and I never tire from putting my new last name initial...everywhere.

Solution = Washi Tape Letters

All you need for this summer breeze of a craft project is a wooden letter cut out, an xacto knife, and some washi tape.

Washi Tape Letters TutorialAdhere the washi tape where desired and use the xacto knife to gently slice away the access. You won't need to press down very hard. I position the letter both ways while cutting...on it's face and on it's back depending on the angle that I need.

There is no wrong way to washi!
