10 Minute Craft Dash # 23 Birthday Theme + A Birthday Sprinkles Gift Idea
I am so excited for this week's 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge! This week's challenge theme is Birthday because we are celebrating the 10 Minute Craft Dash's birthday and I am so glad to be a part of it! This week's challenge will be a little different than previous weeks and will include a fun blog hop, special guest, and lots of amazing prizes! For this week, in staying with the birthday theme, I wanted to create something fun that you could give as a fun birthday gift and since there is only 10 minutes allow to create this project, I had to great crafty quick!
I picked up these mini glass jars at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and I knew I would use them for an upcoming project. I took my jar and filled it with rainbow sprinkles. I then used a pocket page by Me and My Big Ideas and cut it in half. I used my cupcake stamp set by Hero Arts and stamped it on a piece of kraft cardstock and cut it to size. I then used some baker's twine and tied it to the mini jar. I then included a mini wooden spoon by Sucre Shop to complete the look. Gosh, I think it turned out so cute and I can't wait to use it as a gift. I felt like I need to add something a little extra to complete this look. I used the same stamp set and stamped on another piece of kraft cardstock and took some mini cupcake liners and place them in a clear bag and stapled my cardstock on top and included a mini clothespin from The Rainbow Party line by Amy Locurto for American Crafts. Super easy and extra cute and it only took me 4 minutes and 36 seconds to create this cute gift idea!
