DIY: Family Vacation Map
A few weeks ago, we were out of town visiting family and I got a chance to visit one of my favorite stores, Paper Source. I love this store! I am pretty sure I could just pitch a tent in the store and live there for a couple of days but I am sure they frown upon customer's trying to have a slumber party in the store, don't you think? One of my purchases was this paper map. I had the perfect idea for it and I finally got around to making it happen. I wanted a fun way to document our family travels that we all could look at and remember all the fun memories we had during that trip. I purchase some straight pins from JoAnn's and pinned each place we have ever traveled to as a family. On the places were we actually took a vacation, I used some washi tape and documented the year we went there. Since I am starting this documentation this year, we only have one photo on the map so far but I know we will slowly grow our family map as the years go by. I used one of my prints from Social Print Studio to document our most recent trip to Florida.
But as the saying goes, there is no place like home and I couldn't agree more. How do you document your family vacations? I would love to hear your ideas! Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a chance to win a $50.00 giftcard!
