The Crafters Bash Turns One!

Today is all about celebrations! I can't believe that The Crafters Bash is turning one today! It is such an emotional day for me so excuse me if I am a total HOT MESS. One year ago from today I was hosting the very first workshop of many to come and if I can be honest, I was a nervous wreck.  When the idea of The Crafters Bash floated through my head, I thought, how fun it would be to have a local event where ladies could come and craft some amazing projects and actually complete them! I know we are all on Pinterest and we pin project after project yet we never make the actual time to create them or finish them so I would make that happen and we would also have a lot of fun doing it too! When I started to plan the first Crafters Bash, I found a cute location, set a date, and open registration for people to sign up. I had no idea what projects we were going to do, how I was going to set up, or if people would even come but I decided I was not going to let fear prevail and I was going to make it happen one way or another and I am so thankful for the response because the first workshop sold out and every workshop since then has sold out as quickly. I was shocked and completely grateful for the wonderful ladies who believed in me and wanted to spend an afternoon hanging out with this very random, kinda crafty girl. The Crafters Bash has grown so much in the past year with some of the most amazing sponsors that support the workshop and spoil our attendees rotten! I just hosted my first ever out of state workshop in Fayetteville, Arkansas and I will be making my way to Texas later on in the year to host two more workshops before the year ends. If you would have asked me a year or two ago if I would ever host a crafting event, I would have said NO WAY with the fear of no one wanting to attend but I am glad I decided to follow that dream of mine and make things happen because now the sky is the limit and I can not wait to see what 2015 brings for The Crafters Bash and all the new friends I will get to meet along the way. I would like to also thank everyone that has helped me with The Crafters Bash in a big or little way and all the dedicated ladies who travel all over to attend. I truly appreciate you and I could never make these workshops as successful as they are without you.
