Decor Coaching with The Decor Fix

It's been a long process -- almost 8 months actually but next month is finally the month we get to move into our new home! When we decided to build our second home, we knew patience was key but I can't not tell you how excited I am to finally get our things out of storage and get back into a normal routine with our belongings not in boxes. It will be like Christmas morning unboxing all our stuff but I have to say I am most excited to set up my new office! When we had our second child, my office/craft room turned into baby's room and I had to turn a corner in my master bedroom into my office space and it didn't leave much room to really spread out and be inspired which is probably one of the reasons I was so excited to find Heather of The Decor Fix and have a Decor coaching session with her and really get some good ideas and inspiration for my new space. It's funny that people think because I am crafty that I would have a ounce of interior design skills but I do not and that is the reason why I leave that to the professionals!

I was kind of nervous about the whole Decor coaching idea when I first approached Heather. I tend to change my mind a lot and I wasn't sure if I could fully explain my vision for my new office space but Heather made the process so easy for me. It all started with me sending photos of my space and answering a style survey. I also send her a picture of the inspiration room above to get a better idea of what I liked. After I sent all my information over, we scheduled a facetime appointment and talked about what she had in mine and what I wanted to achieve. Shortly after our phone chat, I had an amazing action plan in my inbox with drawings and resources for items to purchase for my new space.  I mean, sourcing is half the battle and Heather linked me straight to the sites where I could easily purchase the items I needed. I was basically sold at that point and the great thing is, that when I actually start to decorate the new office space and I am totally lost, Heather is just an email and chat away and offers follow up help.

If you are looking to spruce up a space in your house or maybe you are getting ready to move into a new house like I am and need some help decorating your home, I would highly suggest working with Heather and letting her help you achieve a cohesive look that reflects your style and if you are interested in booking your coaching session in the month of September, use the code Thuy Loves Homes for 25% off any coaching package.
