Champion for Kids - Pack a Sack #MobilizingMillions

I was very excited to be part of the Champion for Kids Pack a Sack #MobilizingMillions campaign to help promote awareness that there are so many children in our very own community that do not have enough to eat and that their only hot meal is what they have for lunch during school. Being a mom of two little ones, it really holds an important place in my heart to help support these children in need. I decided to host a Pack A Sack donation food drive at my workplace. I was amaze by the kindness and support that my co-workers showed to me with their generous donations towards the food drive. It was such a simple process.  I had my oldest son create me a sign for my donation box. Once I brought my box to work, the donations came in and my box was overflowing with nutritious food such as Granola Bars, Apple Sauce, and more.

While we were picking out some of items for the food drive, I made sure we also picked up some Pedisure which is a great meal supplement jammed packed with tons of vitamins and nutrients.

I decided to donate all our food to Broken Arrow Neighbors. They have a great program where they pick up backpacks for children to take home during the weekend to make sure they do not go hungry.

My little fella was with me today to help me carry in all our donations. This was such a simple gesture that made a huge impact. I challenge you to start your own food drive and see how we you can make a difference.
