Sharing Tea for Two: Starbucks Teavana Oprah Chai Tea
I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starbucks. I received a promotional item and a gift card to facilitate my review. This weekend is Mother's day and this will be the first time I will be spending Mother's day away from my Mom and it is a bittersweet feeling. I guess this year, we will be celebrating from afar. I decided to treat my friend Alex for an afternoon treat and we headed to Starbucks to try the new Teavana Oprah Chai Tea and let me tell you, it was good! We both decided on a hot Oprah Chai Tea Latte versus the iced but I am sure the iced one is just as yummy. It was such a nice afternoon of sipping our tea and just catching up with life. We get so busy with the everyday hustle that sometime's we just forget to breathe and enjoy life. I am making that a priority this year to actually stop and enjoy life versus trying to hustle and move on to the next thing. The new Teavana Oprah Chai Tea was very refreshing. It has a bold infusion of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves, blended with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos. Lightly sweetened and finished with steamed or cold milk over ice. This tea is available as a hand crafted latte or as a loose leaf tea to brew at home.
Did you know that Starbucks will be making a donation for each Teavana Oprah Chai Tea product sold to benefit opportunities for youth through the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. Visit www.SteepYourSoul.com to learn more about the new Teavana Oprah Chai and the youth education organizations that will be supported through this partnership and on Mother's Day, Starbucks will be offering a Buy One Get One Free Teavana Oprah Chai Tea Beverage. What a fun treat to take your own Mom or sharing a tea with a special friend. I never knew around the world, the ritual of steeping tea provides a time to pause and reflect each day. Tea has been a part of Starbucks heritage since 1971 when the company was founded as Starbucks Coffee, Tea and Spices.
