New Year, New Goals for 2018!

Gosh, where do I even start?! Goal Planning is one of my most favorite things to do each New Year but also one of things I also dread. To some it comes easy but to me, not so much. It always takes me a bit to figure out my goals for the following year and determine how I plan to achieve these goals. Just like most years, some of my goals tend to carry over into the next year and so forth. Some years my goals get completed and some years they don't and I am ok with that however, because I am 100% a vision person for me to progress with my goals for 2018, I must write them down.

As I reflect back on 2017, it was an awesome year! Some of my favorite highlights happened to my personally like my new job change and hitting Silver with my Young Living business which all gets more excited for 2018 and what is in stored for me, my family and my business.

So before I can share my goals for 2018, I must share my word for the year. The word that I will focus on all throughout 2018 to help me stay on track.

MY WORD FOR 2018 IS:

GROWTH

WITH A LITTLE MIX OF INTENTIONAL IN THERE AS WELL.

It look me awhile to figure out my word for 2018 and Intentional was what stuck to me the most but as I thought more into what I would like to see and achieve in 2018 then I knew my word for 2018 was Growth. I want to grow and see growth in so many areas of my life personally and professionally. When I determined my word for 2018, it help me set my goals for the upcoming year.

There may be more goals for 2018 that I will add as the year goes on but this is a good start for me and what I would like to achieve in the new year. Some things will be easier then others but I am determined to mark off as many goals as possible and if I don't get them all done, that's ok. I am striving for progress over perfection and if you know me personally, you know that is very hard for the perfectionist in me to do but I am learning that I can't always have it the way I want it and that if it doesn't go as planned that it will truly be ok. If you have ever taken the color personality test then you probably know that I am a total green.

So now that I have shared my Word for 2018 and my goals for the year, I am sure you are curious on how I plan to keep track of everything and stay organized -- well, let me share with you some of my favorite paper products I like to use to keep it all together.

For my planner this year, I decided to go back to my first planner love — the Life Planner by Erin Condren. I wanted something that was simple without the fluff and would help me stay organized plus it's the cover is just so cute! My next tool is my beloved Powersheets which I have shared several times on Instagram and on the blog. I can't wait to dive into them this year and stay on track with my monthly goals. New to me this year is the Diamond workbook by Bethany Shipley that I plan to use to help me stay focus on my Young Living business. Other things I love using are my Cultivate What Matters Goal Setting stickers and May Design notebooks

Whew, there you have it! Cheers to a New Year, a fresh start and all the goodness that is in store!
