About a month ago, me and a few girlfriends hopped on a plane and headed to Scottsdale to celebrate my friend Johanna’s 40th Birthday. This was my first time to Scottsdale and I really wasn’t sure what to expect but let me tell you guys, I had the BEST time AND I also want to thank everyone for all your recommendations when I asked via Instagram on some of your favorite places in Scottsdale! October may have been one of the best months to go to Scottsdale as the weather was absolutely perfect and in the mid 60ish-70ish with no humidity and just gorgeous and sunny. We were only in Scottsdale for a few days so we definitely made the most of our days and basically 90% of it consisted of us eating but seriously, Scottsdale has some of the best places to eat!

For our trip, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club. It had two huge bedrooms, a living room, dining area and a kitchen where we could buy a few snacks, etc to eat while we were there plus it was centrally located by all the places we wanted to check out. Our first stop of our trip was to True Food Kitchen and talk about YUMMY! The atmosphere was amazing and everything we ordered was delicious! It was all very light, filling and super fresh and I have to say my favorite dish there was the Kale guacamole and I may or may not have licked the bowl clean.

For dinner, we headed into Old Town to try out The Mission and it did not disappointment. Dinner was delicious and the table side guacamole was amazing! If you are ever in Scottsdale, you definitely have to try The Mission out.

The next day we spent most of the day shopping and exploring Scottsdale. We headed to the Scottsdale Fashion Square and had the yummiest lunch by the river at Olive & Ivy. Their outdoor patio is simply stunning and definitely a perfect place for brunch. We ordered this amazing Chef Board and it was just delicious!

For the evening, we signed up for a fun Surf and Turf cooking class at Sur la table where we learned to make chocolate creme brûlée, steak and shrimp. After our cooking class, we ended our night at Kierland Commons which is a gorgeous  shopping center as well and we grabbed a late night bite at Postinos which is known for their wine and light bites. It was the perfect way to end our evening.

On the last day of our trip, we spent it at Well & Being Spa with an Aerial Yoga Hammock class which let me tell you was not easy but definitely an experience then we headed to the Spa where we relaxed and had the best pumpkin facials.

The spa treatment was the perfect way to end our girl’s trip. I loved every minute I was there and I can’t wait to go back next year and take the family. If you are planning a girl’s trip or even a family trip, I highly recommend a trip to Scottsdale and definitely add hiking to your agenda because the mountains there are just stunning!
