Blogging: Technical+ Logistics Workshop

I came, I talked and I conquered! Whew, I can officially say I survived my first Blogging workshop! In cased you missed the details, last night I had the opportunity in a collaboration with 36 Degrees North to host the first workshop of a Blogging Series and my topic was about Technical and Logistics when it comes to blogging. It was kind of funny to think as I was preparing my presentation that I realized I have been blogging for close to 10 years! THAT IS INSANE! I started blogging when Myspace, yup I just went there friends, MYSPACE was the major platform and where blogs where super flashy and also included music in the background. If you been blogging for awhile or have been a avid reader of blogs then I know you know exactly what I am talking about. AND don't get me started on the fact that if you have music on your blog that it took FOREVER to load. I think it is so interesting to see how much blogging as changed and how nowadays, sharing on Instagram everyday has turned into a daily blog for some influencers.

I have to say I was extremely nervous to teach this workshop. Even though I have been blogging for quite some time, I wasn't doing it full time like some bloggers and I also felt that I am constantly learning on a day to day basis about blogging and how to do things better. The great thing about this industry is that it is constantly changing and that we can always learn something new from each other and it opens the door for collaborations and great things to flourish from it. It has also given me the opportunity to make some great friendships and I am so thankful that this world of blogging introduced me to some of my best girlfriends that I talk to on a daily basis.

If you missed my workshop, I am sorry to tell you that there will not be a replay of it since it was not recorded. I hope to eventually do a few post in the future about blogging so be sure to look out for those! If you were able to make it last night, I truly appreciate you taking your time to come hang with me for an hour and let me share my blogging experiences and advise to you. I hope in some way, I was able to help you spark the motivation to get that blog going or if you are already a blogger then were able to learn a new thing or two!
