Read MoreI am SO excited that next week will be August 1st which means that fall is (hopefully!) just around the corner and I can enjoy my favorite season of the year! I been slowly transitioning my wardrobe for the upcoming season and every year around this time before school starts, I like to clean out the closet for the boys and myself and really get an idea of what will work for the season and to get rid of items we no longer wear or fit. It also helps with back to school shopping and making sure we get pieces that the boys can really some good use from. With the recent Nordstrom anniversary sale and fall releases happening at some of my favorite retail stores, I have purchased some key pieces for fall that I feel could work with anyone. One Fall basic that I will for sure be wearing a lot this fall will be this black and white gingham dress from J. Crew Factory. It's a great fit and will be so cute with booties and then as it gets colder, you could easily layer on a cardigan or a military jacket.
